Enjoy a Little Hilarity this Holiday Season!

There are just some things you have to see to believe, and as far as holiday entertainment in Sheboygan, WI goes, there’s nothing that embodies this more than “A Kodachrome Christmas starring John McGivern”. Every year around this time, a number of very traditional Christmas-themed events pop up. There are tree lighting festivals, choir performances, showings of The Nutcracker Ballet and so much more. However, if there was one word to describe the A Kodachrome Christmas show, “traditional” would not be it.

Get Back to Basics with A Wade House Christmas

The holiday season is finally upon us! Around this time every year, most everyone across the country is consumed by getting the best deals on their Christmas lists, keeping up with the Jones and their decorations, and countless other trivial things. Sometimes, it just makes you wish that you could go back in time to when there was no such thing as Black Friday. Believe it or not, there was a time when the holidays were more about spending quality time with loved ones, rather than skipping Thanksgiving dinner to be the first in line for those deals.

There’s always something fun and exciting going on at Road America and this August is no exception! Every year, people from all over the world make their way out to the raceways to watch others go head to head on the track and fantasize about what it would be like to be down there with them. Well thanks to one incredible upcoming event, you don’t have to dream about it anymore – you can be right down there in the action.

The Sunset Cruise will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2014 and is a great opportunity for people to experience first-hand what it’s like to ride on one of the greatest racing circuits in the United States. However, this activity is not for those who are seeking a high-speed thrill. All participants in the Sunset Cruise are limited to three guided laps on the 4-mile racecourse at low speeds to make sure everyone has a safe, fun time.

Since you will be required to drive your own vehicle in this event, all you need to ensure is that your car is no taller than 8 ½ feet and has a at least a half a tank of gas when you pull onto the track.

The event will begin at 6pm but participants are asked to arrive at Road America no earlier than 5pm and no later than 5:40pm. The cost is set at $20 per car but in our opinion, the experience itself is priceless!
