Even during these cold winter months, Sheboygan County offers plenty of activities and a weekend retreat. The Inn On Hillwind is only a short distance away from two area ski resorts where you can spend a nice weekend away from Milwaukee or Green Bay. After spending the day on the sloes, come back to the Inn and cozy up in one of the private suites with a whirlpool, fireplace, large beds, and private baths.  We can provide a great retreat after a long day of skiing in Wisconsin.

Sunburst - Sunburst hosts a variety of trails including beginner, advanced, and expert levels and 3 terrain parks. They offer night skiing and boarding 7 days/week on all runs with snow tubing also available. They are typically open till March , but depends on weather conditions.  Sunburst is only 30-40 minutes away from our B&B in Plymouth.

Little Switzerland – Opened in 1941, Little Switzerland is one of the oldest resorts in the Midwest.  Mix in millions of dollars of improvements and you have an historic resort with a first class customer experience.  While a few key ingredients of the lodge remain, such as the Swiss style and one of the big fireplaces, the lodge has been gutted and completely remodeled.  Highlights include a beautiful new bar and game room upstairs in the all-new Swiss Chalet.  The lower level will house an all new pro shop, new ticketing area, completely redesigned rental designed to maximize efficiencies and minimize time spent inside, a new ski patrol room, and an all-new cafeteria.   This is a little further of a drive, clocking in at about 1 hour southwest of Plymouth.
