Ring in 2014 with Plymouth’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball!

Christmas day is only two weeks away and from there, we’re on the fast track to 2014. Have you figured out your New Year’s Eve plans yet? Well if you’re going to be around the Plymouth area during the festivities, then we would highly suggest that you check out the New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball. The events have proven to be a big hit for many years now and we guarantee that a great time will be had by all!

Hosted at the Plymouth Arts Center, which is a mere five minutes from our inn, the masquerade will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 7pm to 12:30am. Throughout the evening of masked fun, guests will be treated to a delicious buffet dinner catered by Millhome Supper Club, a complimentary glass of wine and cheese table, dancing to Smooth Groove Quartet and one very special display at midnight.

Now if you’re from around the area, you may have already heard about this, but all of our out-of-towners will be in for a big surprise when the countdown to 2014 begins. Rather than dropping a shimmering ball as the clock ticks down, Plymouth does something that can only be seen in the cheese capital of the country: the big cheese drop! This year will mark the 7th annual cheese drop and let us tell you – it is quite a site to see.

Dinner-dance tickets will be sold at $30 per person in advance and dance only tickets will be $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Dance-only guests will be invited to join the festivities at 8:30pm and costumes are optional for all attendees.  For more information on the event, visit plymoutharts.org.

Once you’ve officially rung in the New Year, make the resolution to make it back to Inn on Hillwind real soon and bring your friends!
